Your podcast can provide time, location and financial freedom!
Do you want to grow your podcast and leverage it to create new opportunities in your business, career, or life?
Do you want to be known as a leader in your industry?
Are you ready to monetize your podcast and expertise to generate income and impact?
If you are nodding your head, this 2-day coaching program is for you!
We know that the best type of learning is actionable and personalized which is why our program is happening LIVE.
We'll show you exactly how to establish your expertise and design a personalized plan for generating income through paid speaking gigs, sponsorships, passion services, and grants.
WHY ATTEND PODTHON?
If you have been following Podthon over the last four years, you know that since 2019 we've hosted an annual virtual podcasting summit covering a wide variety of topics from launching to monetizing.
However, this year we are flipping the script.
Instead of hosting a summit with 30+ speakers, we are leading a small group monetization coaching program for hobby podcasters looking to leverage their expertise to create financial freedom in their lives.
We (your podcast coaches) have gotten paid to speak on stage, have successfully negotiated four-figure podcast sponsorship deals, and have won grants to pursue our dreams.
Podcasting is a marathon and not a sprint -- we know you're here for the long haul, and creating sustainable income streams is a priority, so we're going to teach you exactly how to monetize your podcast with podcast sponsorships, grants, and paid speaking gigs.
When you join our coaching program, you can expect (2) days of in-depth learning -- but it doesn't stop there -- you'll also receive individualized attention and feedback on your work (yes, there will be homework) and be part of a supportive community of podcasters who are enthusiastic about growing their brands and creating additional income streams.
We aim for you to walk away from this weekend with the knowledge and hands-on experience to go after it this year. Kickstart your success as a profitable podcaster and creator.
If this sounds good, we invite you to check out our schedule and reserve your spot today.
OUR PROMISE TO YOU
A fun learning environment.
Office Hours for asking additional questions and discussions.
Time to connect with members in your cohort.
Role-playing to imitate real-world scenarios we've encountered.
YOU'RE SERIOUS ABOUT CREATING INCOME FROM YOUR SHOW
Hey, Danielle here -- When I launched my podcast in 2018, I hadn't thought about monetizing my podcast.
I started The Thought Card Podcast to better engage with my audience, share content quicker, and be known in the personal finance and travel space.
However, after podcasting for over a year, I realized that my show needed to start generating income.
Production expenses were piling up, and I was feeling burnout. I desperately wanted to hire an editor, but only if my podcast could produce enough revenue. #ChallengeAccepted
First, I started monetizing my podcast with affiliate marketing, recommending products and services I loved.
Making money through affiliate marketing eventually helped me hire a podcast editor -- which saved me a lot of time and has dramatically improved the quality of my show.
Wanting to make more money, I tried other money-making strategies. I unsuccessfully tried hosting a paid workshop and launched a membership. I heard crickets.
After a lot of trial and error, I now monetize my podcast via:
- Podcast sponsorships
- Affiliate marketing
- Grants
- Paid speaking opportunities (indirectly)
- Book sales (indirectly)
In September 2021, I was able to quit my job, and being a podcaster is one of my biggest brand assets. I've come a long way since 2018.
In this (2) day podcasting coaching program, alongside Lee, I will share exactly how I've been able to build my top income streams and how you can too.
We'll deep dive into all things paid podcast sponsorships, grants, and getting paid to speak. We will discuss what's worked and what hasn't and help you create a personalized monetization strategy that works for you.
Hi! I’m Lee Uehara.
And I’m here to tell you that if you follow that nudge, you know the one I’m talking about…If you have faith to follow it — even if you think: you have nothing, you’re not enough, or don’t have enough experience — your life will offer opportunities you never thought possible!
Do I have your attention now?! Good. And, I know all this to be true because, unlike most folks, I started my podcast with, well, nothing:
- No title.
- No concept.
- No pre-planned content.
- No logo.
Nothing. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Except a nudge and the faith to follow it.
Since that moment when I turned on my microphone and uttered those first words, I haven’t looked back.
And now, with Danielle, I’m going to show you exactly how to become an expert and build authority; create your signature talk; tweak your branding; spiff up your audio quality; own who you are and where you’re at. I'll show you how to become a speaker while avoiding pitfalls when applying for opportunities.
I’ve been able to successfully leverage having a podcast, monetizing it via:
- Paid co-hosting + moderating
- Producing an awards show
- Hosting/co-hosting summits
- Sponsorships
- Coaching
- Workshops
- Speaking
- Consulting
- Affiliate marketing
- Podcast advertising
- Doing outside work that I’m passionate about
Join me — along with Danielle, won’t you?

WHAT PAST ATTENDEES ARE SAYING
I gained practical tips that I can use right away. The sessions were in bite-sized pieces so it wasn't overwhelming. Loved the ice breaker/networking at the beginning as well. Was a great way to do some intros before the day got started.
Aside from the amazing and thought provoking content and presenters, I loved seeing all the wonderful and diverse faces of the attendees! No other conference that I know of, has this vibe and sense of community.
Podthon is the podcast conference that injects practical, usable advice immediately into your podcasting. The presenters were informative, genuine and interactive. The chat rooms were friendly and active. The unique elements like the mingle times with other attendees, the music breaks, and so on, were perfect.

About Podthon
In 2019, two leading industry organizations, Asian American Podcasters Association and Women of Color Podcasters, teamed up to offer podcasters and audio creators a unique opportunity for speaking mentorships and a stage to share their knowledge.
Now in its fourth year, Podthon ‘22 tackles how to secure paid sponsorships, grants, and speaking gigs even if you think you don’t have enough downloads.
We are putting to rest the old adage that podcasters must have thousands of listeners — or a big audience— to make money and be profitable. Don’t believe the myth: YOU have what sponsors are looking for. Promise.
Podthon ‘22 is bringing together two powerhouse coaches to share their secrets for success and how to get it done.
You won't want to miss out!
