From Dream to Stage

Have you ever wanted to become a speaker?

And have you thought about being on a stage, sharing your voice and your message with the world?

But…

But you are scared?

But you worry that no one wants to hear what you have to say?

But you have no idea how to write a talk pitch?

But you’ve never given a talk before?

But. But. But?

Then I can help you. Not only help, but coach you every step of the way.

Hi, I’m Lee Uehara, and I’ve spoken at all the major podcasting conferences: Podcast Movement, Podfest Expo, She Podcasts Live, to name a few. I’ve even produced and co-hosted summits such as Podthon, NYC Podcasters Winter Conference, and AAP’s Micro-Con at Podfest Global.

So not only will I share with you how to become a speaker, but I will tell you what a successful talk pitch submission should look like.

With my 4-week intensive program, you will get revved up to speak publicly in just four weeks — but you have to commit to doing the work! And, if you’re ready, you can. But more importantly, working with me will give you the feeling that you can and will do it.

Many of the people I’ve worked with have gone on to large conference stages, too. And I want to help YOU become a speaker, too.

Here’s What Others Say About Me

Lee is amazing! I was submitting a pitch for a speaking event (first-timer) and was extremely nervous and overwhelmed and was in desperate need of guidance. Lee jumped right in and offered her knowledge and wisdom. She helped me feel confident in myself, and I couldn’t have gotten through the application without her help. Lee knows her stuff! I’m extremely grateful for her help!

Lee was instrumental in giving me the push that I needed to move forward as a speaker. She always had ideas that came from a totally new and different perspective when it came to my challenges about growing my network and showcasing my expertise. Lee’s energy is infectious and inspiring to make you also become the action taker that she embodies.

After our initial session, we’ll connect once a week for (3) 45-minute 1:1 coaching calls — and more action steps — to get you closer to speaking at conferences.

Included is my private coaching podcast feed for whenever you want to listen to my tips and advice, and you will also receive email support during the week.

There are a limited number of coaching spots remaining.

We’ll start as soon as you’re enrolled. Because, why put it off any longer?

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if this is right for me?

Great question.
Here’s my answer: If you have always dreamed of being a speaker or publicly speaking to smaller crowds but don’t know how to begin, you’re in the right place!

This is NOT the right fit if you:
– Don’t want to work toward your goals
– Are looking for a quick fix
– Want someone to do all the heavy-lifting for you
– Don’t like taking direction
– Don’t like constructive feedback
– Don’t want to invest the time to show up

Will we meet every week?

Yes! Once we have our initial session, we’ll go straight through the four-week program.

Should I have a podcast?

It depends. If you want to speak at podcasting conferences, then the answer is YES!

If you want to speak but not only at podcasting conferences, then NO!

*You do not need to have a podcast to be coached for this program.

Is there homework?

You want to become a speaker, right? Yes, there is homework. But, it’s manageable and should be exciting to do since it will get you closer to your goal.

What if I get nervous talking in front of people?

It’s completely normal! But yes, we’ll go over public speaking anxiety, too.
